Phil was great teacher. woods shop class of 1978 & 79 My sympathy for his Family & Friends
September 28, 2013
He was the teacher that made such an impact on me. From shop class, snowmobile course training to telling me I was to small to spike in volleyball only to let me be in the front row a few times. And encouraging me to be the only girl in his CAD class one year. I still love the smell of fresh cut wood and creating things. Amazing teacher and I pray my kids are lucky enough to meet someone so meaningful like he was to me. My thoughts are with you. There is a place in my heart that smiles ever time I think of that shop class because of him. So, lucky he crossed my path, even for a short time.

Phil was a legend in his own right. We enjoyed his humor and his wittiness. We lost a friend. He was colorful and unique. He was good to our 4-h kids. We will miss him. Elizabeth, we extend our deepest symphathy.
