Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake for Earl H. Dibb, age 87, of St. Cloud, who died Sunday at Lakeview Ranch in Dassel. Family and friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday evening at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the church in Clear Lake. Rev. George Sogissor III will officiate and burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Sauk Rapids. Trinity Lutheran prayers will be at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Earl was born June 21, 1926 in Lester Prairie to Earl & Sylvia (Zebell) Dibb. He married La June Arlene Huser on June 25, 1989 at Briggs Lake. Earl was a welder and lived in the St. Cloud area for the past 25 years. He attended Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, was a member of the Litchfield American Legion Post #104 and was a volunteer with the Clearwater food shelf. Earl served his country in the United States Navy. He was very proud to be a Sea Bee. Earl enjoyed fishing, woodworking and traveling. He was a gentle, forgiving man who loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 25 years, La June of St. Cloud; children, Russell (Laurel) of Prescott, WI, Bruce (Ann) of Blaine, Steve (Sharon) of Farmington, Bill (Linda) of St. Stephen, Jon of Minneapolis; stepchildren, Colleen (Paul) Studniski of Watkins, Neal (Leela) Lampher of St. Cloud; brother, Lyle of Lester Prairie; sister-in-law, Shirley Dibb of Lester Prairie; 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Douglas and Wally and sister-in-law, Arlene Dibb.
Memorials are preferred to Lakeview Ranch in Dassel or Trinity Lutheran Church in Clear Lake.
