I feel very lucky to have known Terry, meeting her while I worked with the Stearns County Master Gardeners. Terry was such a wonderful, giving, and caring person. I will remember Terry as a person who gave so much of herself in the activities she was involved with, because she was so passionate about teaching and helping others. My condolences to her entire family.

I only knew Terry through a couple of visits she made to Guatemala to see her daughter and my friend, Mary. She was well informed and engaged in widely varied activities, aiming to improve life for her fellow humans. I'm sorry to miss seeing her extensive display of all things Guatemalan, which apparently filled her home. Much love to her children, Mary and Cyle.

I was lucky to have known Terry via her wonderful daughter and my longtime sister-friend, Mary. I met Terry in my hometown, Tucson, Arizona, when she visited Mary during the time we worked with indigenous women from Central and South America. Terry was as interested in engaging with people from other lands as much as Mary and I . . . so we always shared the adventure of travel and the magic that comes from connecting with people from across this earth. Her greater spirit is released now . . . to carry on that love she had for people and the joy of life itself. Be in God's grace.

On behalf of DFL Senate District 13, we are very saddened to hear of Terry's passing. She was formerly an officer of our local unit, and a true supporter of human rights and progressive values -- they defined her life. Our deepest sympathy to her family. -- Buzz Snyder/DFL Chair
