Our belated condolences to Jan and family. May you always cherish your love of this remarkable woman.

I new Ann both through my work with the Seattle Parks Department and also attending Kitsap Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (KUUF). She was always there with an encouraging word, a smile, and a hug. Her passing leaves a very big whole in our collective soul. She was a genuine and loving woman to everyone she met.

I knew Ann when I worked at the Seattle Parks Department. we were part of a very special "Community Center Levy Team" where we help to create 5 new community centers n the greater Seattle area. Ann's smart community positioning, hard work to get the job done, laughter, grace and leadership are traits I carry with me today. I learned so much from her and she gave me an awesome pie crust and chili receipe i still use today. Although i left the Parks Department many years ago she touched my life in a way that I knew she was always just a phone call away as a life long friend. I know her presence will be missed by us left behind..but i also know she is already creating a kickin' party with lots of pasta and pies in heaven. God Bless you Ann. A job well done and a life truly enriched by those you touched.

Ann was the first person I worked for at the Seattle Parks Department. She was always there to listen to me and to give me guidance. She was the one who encouraged me to continue working at the Park Department after my first child, she was a smart woman. I am sad for myself as I lost touch with Ann and thought of her often. My prayers are with you Jan during this difficult time. Blessings Kathy Lovell Loftus
