My sincere condolences to Sister Doris and the Smith family. I always felt that Anthony was family to me from our first meeting. First of all the Louisiana connection. Most of my family attended Southern University, some did attend Grambling University. In the late 70's while I was playing college basketball I worked out with him and one of the twins at the UW IMA building. The runs (basketball games) were mainly current college players and a few pros. Anthony competed well. He always made room for me to run with his team. In 1995 my former fiancé attended Mt. Zion. So I would come in to worship, joining in 2003. I would always tell Brother Smith, “we're still on the same team.” The same team meaning God's team. Since I became an Evangelist in 2010 I only attend services at Mt. Zion a few times a year. It could be the cloudiest Seattle day—when I saw Brother Smith the sun was shining in his countenance. My Brother, My Brother you will be missed. You did so much to bring the youth to Christ. I am working to see you for the eternity with Christ……. Ephesians 1: 10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

Please accept sincere condolences from the Jennings family. We are members of Mount Zion and were all touched by Deacon Smith's warmth, kindness and good humor. My wife, daughter and I will miss him very much.
