Bruce, you are truly missed. Thank you so much for your friendship, guidance, inspiration and example. Even now I can't help but smile when I think about that grin of yours that came out so often and brought a smile to so many. I watched you touch and lead so many at both APL and Tideworks, and am so fortunate to have known you. Sleep well, my friend.

My condolenses to Sandy, his kids and family and to Steve (and his other friends.) We were Ingraham Rams together and I remember Bruce best from our having to deal with four different coaches during our time there, and ski trips.

Having lost touch after moving away after college, I heard not only about his fight, but that he continued to work for as long as he did. It must have been a supreme effort - but given what I had seen in Bruce, but not surprising as I remember him as a battler with a strong work ethic.

Bruce was also a lot of fun to be around. I also recall his friendship with Steve - which looking back always made for a good time, but also gave us a sense of stability but also a reassurance of normalcy.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you today.

Bruce was such a wonderful person. He was generous, kind and thoughtful. He was the friend my parents and sisters absolutely liked, ALL OF THE TIME! He was a voice of sanity in our group high school friends while still involving himself in the insanity. A friend texted the other day, We lost a good man. He was 100% correct. Bruce, you will be missed.

I knew Bruce as a lifelong friend, and what a rare and wonderful gift that was. We enjoyed many good times. It was an honor to be at his side for his wedding to Sandy and an honor to be able to be by his bedside in his last days in hospice. Bruce leaves a legacy of loving commitment, hard work and enjoying life. May God help that legacy spread through all those that knew him and may Bruce rest in peace.
