My sincere sympathy to the family for the loss of your dear loved one. May you find peace and comfort in Psalms 65:2. Again my deepest sympathy.

Carl was a member of American Legion Post 40 in Ballard for 11 years; he will be remembered as a fellow veteran who was proud to serve his country and community.

Carl, was a dear friend to my husband, Nick Scrivanich. They first met during their days on the Army Transport and eventually worked together for 25 years at Wards Cove Packing Co. They both immediately took to and had a mutual respect for each other. Nick had a natural navigational talent and Carl was instrumental in helping him fine tune his skills
Carl's family and friends have been immensely blessed by this great guy.
Warmly,
Helen Scrivanich

Really enjoyed getting to know Carl in these last 10+ years in Yakima. He reminded me alot of my own father, so I appreciated his stories of the war and career running canneries in Alaska. Fought the good fight through to the end. Peace of the Lord to the family in your loss.
