Dear Family of Betty Lowe,
Betty was a sweet, and yet sometimes tart, but good friend to me during my time in the Symphony. We sat together on many bus trips on the way to concerts around the state, and she could always make me laugh my way out of bad cranky moods. Although I left the orchestra long ago, we always were very happy to run into each other over the years and share memories. "Pavlov's Dogs", Betty, you are missed.

Dear Family of Betty Lowe,

I had the privilege of sharing a stand with Betty in the 80s. She was a great player, a very friendly lady and (quietly) super funny in rehearsals. She always had a witty thing to say. She made me feel right at home when I was the new player. May she rest in peace.
