Dear Sandy, I was so sad to hear Elizabeth had passed away. I worked with her at Seattle Public Library for many years. She was a compassionate, inspiring and intelligent woman. She was so proud of you and told us stories of you as a baby and growing up. She so loved to read and was always recommending books. She and I were both animal lovers and we had many interesting discussions about shared interests over the years. She loved her doggy friends Suzie, Rocky and Dandy and others before them. We called her Tin Lizzy because she named one of her booktrucks that. She had a great sense of humor even though she had tough times in her life. I will miss her always. God bless, Paula Long.

Hi Sandy,
I am so sorry for your loss, I worked with your mom at spl, and enjoyed her humor. She and I would go out to lunch together occasionally. We were always appreciative of her outlook on life. She and I talked after she left. I've thought of her often and wish I had kept in touch over the last few years, but it seems like you always mean to call and you think I will call her later and then I was told of her death, now it is too late. Very sad.

Dear Sandra,

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss and will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers as we begin this new year. I have made a donation to the KIVA Loan fund in memory of your mother, Betty Blair.

Sandy, I'm sorry for your loss. I enjoyed reading you mom's obituary and learning a little more about her life's lessons.
