What an insirational person Carmen was to me...She was fighting the battle of her life...cancer...but yet she remained so strong for her family & her faith was shining through...I so admire her. Her Memorial service was absolutely beautiful..tragic and very heartbreaking....but can see all the positive things she did for others. She is definately an angel in heaven and I feel blessed to have known her...thoughts & prayers to her family.
Carmen you are missed. You are a true inspiration and set a high mark for the rest of us. God Speed!
I will walk for you on September. We will see you on the other side!
Stan and normajean
Jeff, and children. No words could ever express to say how much we enjoyed being with family at Dena and Jeff's home, along with Lyndsey and Ben, not to forget the many friends that we were privileged to be with. Carmen, fought a hard battle to beat the cancer. Just couldn't do it anymore, so she knew it was time to be with the Lord, and watch over all of you from heaven. She, of course will be missed. I'm sure she left each and everyone with a special love and strength to go forward. She maybe gone in body, but her spirit will live on for ever. Our Blessing and much love for the three of you.
She was a gerat young lady. I always liked to hear from her brother Duane about the bands she lliked, for instance Bon Jovi. Motley Crüe, and Guns and Rooses.
I can't recall yet, in my lifetime, anyone who was so brave and strong. Even just from Facebook posts and Carmen's blog, because we hasn't talked since the FHS Class of 87 reunion, that Carmen really was THAT brave. And, I could sense that her strength was fed by the presence if the Holy Spirit and her belief and trust in God. What a living testament Carmen is for all who knew her. There is a sparkling smile in heaven today! Prayers for peace and strength to her family.
