So sad... u will be missed.
It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through
I will never forget you, Jimmy. I wish I had the chance to have met you. I never even knew of underwater logging til I saw Axmen. Immediately when I saw your face and witnessed your strong presence and authority, you reminded me of my father. You looked so much like him.....I miss you, so so much--and I never met you---My condolences to your friends and family....You were all blessed to have been a part of this legendary man's life.
Jimmy, you looked just like my father. You even reminded me of him with your strong character, pride and integrity in your work. S and S logging was my favorite team to watch. I found the interactions between yourself and your son, Jimmy III, to be very amusing and even tender. You struggled to teach your son strength and integrity in the work you did--in the company that you established. You were kind, fair, tough, and loving. I would have been honored to have you as my father. I never met you---and yet I feel so incredibly sad about your passing. I wish I had the power to turn back time and give you life...I will miss you forever--I really will. I will never forget your presence on camera. I know you would not have wanted this, but I can't bear to watch Axmen any longer. It is sincerely too painful for me. Hopefully that will change in the future, because I loved to watch the show. There is more than I can write, but I will stop here....My heart breaks for your family--and for your son----Jimmy--Be strong and proud of your father's strong personality and character. It was so clear that he loved you and wanted to instill the same pride he held within his work. Please carry on in your father's memory as Second Captain. We both know there will only be one Captain Jimmy Smith. His memory will live on in the hearts of his fans, friends and family. I wish there were more episodes to watch of your father. I turned on Axmen last night, a few series behind, and the first scene flashed to Jimmy in the hospital. I felt saddened and so incredibly heartsick. Jimmy was only 56, he had so much more life left in him. He was a proud man and a fighter until the end. I love you, Jimmy!
just wont be the same without you
May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.
