I miss you more than ever Dad, but could not of asked for a more loving and caring father. We will see each other again, but until then I watch the stars in the sky and the beautiful birds that sing to me and know you are close. Love always, Kay
We have just lost another of the greatest generation! Harry was such a kind and gentle soul and will be greatly missed. What wonderful chats we had; everything from his war experiences, nutrition, dogs and anything else that came to mind. He always carried extra treats in his pocket for me to give to Molly in case I wasn't prepared. He was always such a great addition to our neighborhood BBQ's with his constant grin and ready sense of humor. Along with your sadness, there must be great pride. Bill and I send our love and sympathy to Dorothy and the rest of the family.
A gentle man with a special spirit that touched all who knew him. I was fortunate to call you father-in-law and friend. You were especially kind and so caring about and for Douglas. You helped me with my grief when Douglas died. He is with you again. Keep an eye on him for me until I join all of you again. Every Thanksgiving I will think of you carving the turkey -- and with such skill! Love you and miss your laugh and smile. I was truly blessed.
Harry, Outstanding friend and Rotarian. Peace.
Harry, we can't say enough about the joy that Dorothy and you not only brought to our lives, but to the entire neighborhood. You will be forever missed. It was an honor to be your "adopted Son." Bob & Joyce McKenzie
A friend of mine sent me the following quote (from a book she once read)in a sympathy card and it so perfectly describes what I believe about you. "He died that day because his body had served its purpose. His soul had done what it came to do, learned what it came to learn, and then was free to leave."
I know you are happy a and glad to be "back home" with the friends, family, and colleagues who went before you. I also know that you will be watching over me, Kay,Rob, and Dorothy. You were a good man, a man I will forever be proud of, and a man I will always love.
Harry was a great neighbor and always good for an interesting conversation! He will be missed!
Harrison was my father's favorite cousin.
Harry helped thousands upon thousands of people help themselves through better nutrition. A pioneer way before the fashion. Always ready and eager to help us and so many of our friends. See you next time around my friend and stepdad.
Although I didn't see him in recent years, I will always remember his great, welcoming smile! He always had a hug and a kind word for us "little" cousins
Diane, I'm so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. My thoughts are with the whole family. Much love, Schml
Thanks, Harry, for 40+ years of lessons. More laughter than tears. You're truly one of a kind. Until we meet again.
