I remember your mom best when I was in college and my parents were living in Virginia. Your parents "adopted" me and made their home on 42nd St my home away from college on breaks and weekends. I can remember coming down in the morning to be greeted by your mom and the contractor remodeling the kitchen; I never knew where the table was going to be, or if there was going to be one in the corner.
Also, I learned about Fruit Soup from your mother, as I was not Scandinavian it was a foreign dish to me, but it was a Sunday dish to be had eaten at the picnic table.
Thanks for letting me be apart of the Roddis family so many years ago!
With fond memories,

Peggy, Vickie, Rick,

I was so sorry to see your mom's passing. I have some fond memories of your family growing up on 42nd: from Cedar Park, Jane Addams, and Nathan Hale. And, especially on a number occasions when we got to interact with both your folks on the evenings when Young Life was hosted in your home.

Bless you all and all you love.

I remember Joanne as a loving daughter, sister and mother. She was my best friend's sister and I always enjoyed her company. One time the family came to La Jolla to visit and although it was raining the whole time, they didn't care. After all, they were from Seattle and were very prepared. I learned right then to make the best of all situations.

My condolences and prayers go out to the whole family in your time of loss.
