I could hardly believe it when I heard the news of Mary Ann's passing. I last saw her at Mary Lou Hughes funeral some two years ago. She and Mary Lou were an inspiration to me - I so admired and respected them. I was on two fabulous trips with them - one to Mexico and one to China.

Our family enjoyed many travels through the Pacific Science Center with Mary Ann as our tour guide. The tours were so well organized and Mary Ann made them fun and educational for our whole family.
Mary Ann, your light will shine on forever!
Thirty three years ago Mary Ann and Bob welcomed us to Seattle and were our inspiration to work and live here. We marveled at Mary Ann's energy and commitment to so many organizations. She will be deeply missed.

Mary Ann always inspired me with her honest determination and ongoing community service.
I worked with her on the I-1000 campaign and she was someone I grew to deeply admire.
My heart goes out to Bob and their children. I will remember her for her vast intelligence and courage to always stand up for what she thought was right.
I will never forget the things she taught me, and always smile at thoughts of her resolve.
Peace be with you dear lady.

Mary Ann was a gracious lady who found just the right words of welcome and compromise when they were most needed.
Her legacies are many but to me she is the spirit of volunteerism at the Japanese Garden.
May the Lord's peace surround this wonderful family at this time. Bob and Mary Ann have been a blessing to this community and the Wiley family will continue to be.
