I knew her as Mrs. Hungate who I and my then-boyfriend and now-husband had as a Humanities teacher for 3 quarters at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA in 1971-72. Her classes were so interesting and stimulating and unlike anything I had ever experienced before. She played Gregorian chants as we entered the classroom to emphasize the lesson of that particular day. She opened our eyes to the fabulously interesting world we live in and both my husband and I have never forgotten her. Lucky me for being in the right place at the right time. Thank you Mollie Hungate!
