I fondly remember Mary Jean for her vivacity, her faithfulness, her unflagging energy. She served as Directress of the Altar Guild when I was Vicar of St. George's Church, Seattle. Because of her the church was always prepared for worship. Because of her generosity and industry the vicar's office was furnished and painted. I thank God for her remarkable witness.
The Rev. James T. Elliott
Mary Jean was my first manager. She gave me great advice when I first joind the agency on several topics. I remember her smile and positive outlook on life. She was a wonderful friend.
Our sympathies to Mary Jean's family. We worked with her at the IRS. She was a lovely, lovely lady. Treated everyone with dignity and respect no matter what their station in life. The other angels will have a lot more laughs now that Mary Jean's at the party.
Oh behalf of all Sisters of the Holy Names, especially those who taught at Holy Names Academy, Seattle, may we offer prayerful sympathy to Mary Jean's family and friends. May her new way of living in God's Presence bring great peace and joy to her, and may you experience Mary Jean's nearness always.
