I was thinking of you and Pano today and decided to do a search on-line. I came across his obituary, I had no idea, and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I'm not sure if you remember me, but you two hired me at Spectrum back in 2001, I think. It was my first "real" job out of college. I wasn't there long, but I have never forgotten either of you. Both of you were kind to me and I will never forget that. Pano was a stern business man with a heart of gold. He really cared about people. I also wanted to tell you that I am getting married in six weeks! I hope you are well. Take care.
So sorry to see the passing of your husband. It sounds like you met a wonderful person and your life together was a joy. God be with you and your children as you move on through life's path.
God rest Pano's extraordinary soul. Spectrum has managed our 401k plan (at AccessVia) for years. Pano and Spectrum have provided fabulous and professional services from day one. But the truly exceptional aspect of this relationship is that Pano helped us as though he were taking care of his own family. I have no question that truly caring perspective is what has made Spectrum such a success. We will miss Pano, but have confidence he inspired that belief in all of his co-workers. It is truly special in this day and age. It is his deep caring and gifts to so many others that ensures his memory will outlast us all.
Pano, thank you for your contributions to the lives and futures of all the families here at AccessVia. We are so grateful.
God Bless you Pano, your family and colleagues.
Our prayers are with you all.
I am so sorry to hear of Pano's passing. You are such wonderful people and miss chatting with you from time to time. I'll keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.
I just heard the news of Pano's passing. Had I heard earlier I would have attended the funeral. Pano was such a great person! I truly enjoyed going to your office and looked forward to working with and visiting with both of you.
My sincere condolances to you and your sons.
Pano was a good person. He never made me feel less than a person. His smile and charm will always be remembered. I am truly saddened to hear this and send my condolences to his family and co-workers. He will truly be missed.
Dear Mary, Petros, and Yannis,
I just heard of Pano's passing. A good and decent man, one who I admired and respected for thirty years. I will miss him.
My sincere condolences to you.
Dear Mary, Yannis & Petros,
Seldom does one meet a true quality person in life. I feel so extremely lucky to have met Pano. Things were always easier and more comfortable with Pano's presence in the room. I will never forget my first Greek festival last year with my Mother and Wife sitting down with Pano at a table. A lady reached over and tapped my mother on the shoulder and asked why so many people keep coming up and hugging the gentleman we were sitting with. I turned around and told her the Gentleman's name was Pano and it was as if it was his own festival. I knew at this time we were sitting with a person who is larger than life. Having known Pano makes one strive to be a better person. I will never forget him and look forward to seeing that contagious laugh and beautiful smile on the other side. Thanks for sharing him with us. Love, Ron & Shantel Sloy
We at Seattle Tacoma Box Company want to express our sincere condolences to you and yours at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Mary and Sons,
Words can not express the void that so many will experience with the loss of Pano. He was a man of passion. A passion for his Church, you Mary his wife, his sons, his business and clients, the game of golf, his wine cellar, preparing beautiful dinner parties and Rotary.
I knew Pano best through Rotary. He has been a great inspiration and will be truly missed by the Tacoma Narrows Rotary.
My prayers are with all of you to gain strength and understanding from your loss.
I am glad to be able to say I knew Pano K.
Dear Koumantaros Family,
My prayers are with you during this time of profound loss. Please know that I (along with the rest of the Bellarmine community) thought very highly of Panayotis.
Petros and Yannis, take care of one another and your mother.
With great love and respect,
Jeanne Dressel Hanigan

I am so sorry for your loss of Pano. I never had the pleasure of meeting Pano, but I talked to him on the phone while working for Wm G. Sroufe CPA, PS in Kent.
God Bless all of you.
Mary, Yannis and Petros,
I have been lighting candles and saying prayers for all of you throughout the last year. Pano taught me a lot about not only the pension industry, but also about perseverence and integrity. His life story should be a lesson to us all that we have in us the ability to do anything that we can dream. I will always savor his cooking and the way that he would "BOSS" us. I will continue to pray for you Mary, that you somehow find some peace and comfort. God Bless each and every one of you.
Mrs. K, Yannis and Petros - I am so honored to have known Mr. K in the capacity that I did. He was such an amazing character and businessman and I have felt his loss deeply. He was a great great man and I will never forget him; I love you all.
Mary, Petros and Yannis,
Judy and I have been Praying for your Family, and we will continue. It is hard to understand God's timing but we must trust, and believe that God's plan in taking Pano home now ( which seem's so early to us) was in His perfect time. Pano was a wonderful example of a Husband, Father and Friend. He will never be forgotten. I feel very privileged to have had Pano as a long time good friend and mentor, and to have shared in his last game of golf and last glass of wine (both he enjoyed so much). I will never forget.
Our love to your family,
Sam and Judy Wick
Mary, Petros and Yannis, My thoughts and deepest sympathies are with you. I have many, many fond memories of Pano and he will be deeply missed. God bless you.
Mary, Petros and Yannis I wish to say many words, but it is so difficult to verbalize my feelings. My heart is completly broken from this tragic event. Panos was a person I admired for his stamina, desire to live and zest for life! God Bless your family and I hope to see you soon.
All my love,
My sincere sympathies to you & your family. Pano administered pension benefits for our office staff for well over 24 years. I had the pleasure of working with Pano for 23 of those years. He was the life of the party at our annual corporate meetings. If it weren't for his sense of humor, those meetings would have been awfully dull. He always talked lovingly of you & his sons. You are all in my thoughts. I will miss Pano dearly.

Mary, Petros and Yannis, Judy and I want to express our deepest sympathies to you. Pano was truly a great man and we feel honored to have been able to count him as our friend.
Dear Yannis and Petros,
I message you on Christmas Eve, a time we usually consider a happy one. Well, it wasn't necessarily so then, and it isn't now. And yet happiness is extracted from sorrow then as it is now. Our Savior was born into rejection and poverty. His birth meant the death of many Bethlehem babies. Yet from this sorrow came our salvation. So with your father, so full of life and generosity. In our sorrow at his passing, we must remember precisely that: that he has passed over to a better life, to union with the Triune God. I will offer up my Christmas Eve Mass this afternoon for your dear father, and for you, two wonderful young men, who linger warm in my memory.
Yours in Christ,
Br. Paul, S.J.
Mary! Fran and I wish to express our sorrow over the death of Pano. Jay Cramer emailed the piece from the Tacoma News TRibune this AM. It's hard to accept the death of a guy who was larger than life and enjoyed his American Dream to the Fullist. May God Bless you and your family and know that he's in a better place. Dick and Fran Sherwood.
You and Pano were so wonderful to me when I worked at Spectrum. I will always remember your care and support when Rob and I pursued his dream of law school. Our thoughts are with you and the boys.
Mary, I stumbled across Pano's obituary. I used to handle the insurance on your family's properties. I recently lost my wife to cancer and know the loss your are experiencing. 2 Cor 1:3-4 tells us that God will comfort you and me, so that we can comfort others who come after us. May God bless and comfort you and your family. I will be praying for you. Matt 5:4
Yannis and Petros,
You guys have a lot of tradition, social spunk, and a great heart. One can only assume to dedicate those characteristics from the teachings and examples that your father had continuously expressed. I am sure that you will keep the family legacy alive for generations to come. My heart and prayers are with you and your family.
Dear Petros and Yannis~
My sincere condolences for the loss of your father. My thoughts and prayers are with you through this very difficult time. (You may not remember me, but we went to school together.) Take care and carry on your father's great name... Holli
