I liked your mom so very much. I often admired the closeness of your relationship with her, as I think a bond like yours is not something that everyone is able to experience with a parent. I am so sorry to hear of her passing, particularly because of the special love you and she shared. I believe that she is no longer in pain, and that someday you will be reunited. I pray that she is viewing a beautiful sunset right now, and that she is relishing a Hawaiian breeze. Rebecca, you will be missed!
Rebecca, you will be dearly missed. Your warmth, compassion and voluminous text messages brought many smiles to my days. Much love, my friend.
The flame of maternal-son love burns eternal.
"My angel, my all, my other self ... If we could be united, we would feel this pain no longer. ...Soon, we shall live together, and what a life it will be. I have to see you.... However much you love me, I love you more."
You know, when we saw this, it was one of many bonding experiences that joined our souls forever. I showed another side of this at your memorial.
I don't know what to do without you.
Christopher I am so sorry to hear of both your Mom's and grandfather's death. I wish you all the Love your heart can hold now and all the days ahead. Your care and support for your mom during her long ordeal is testimony to your own strength, courage and resilience. Couragio Avante!
The world has not seen a more dedicated mother and maternal figure for her son and for others who've been touched by the warmth of Rebecca's love.
I remember hanging out with Becky in 1973-74 at Overlake. Going on errands with her and eating top ramen for the first time at her house! Her smile was infectious and her eyes sparkled.
Rebecca, you have been a dear, kind and wonderful friend. I am so lucky to have been touched by you. Love to you always anywhere your spirit flies.
I love this photo; it captures so many aspects of her personality--colorful, warm, funny, a bit bohemian. In the early years, she was a delight as a student; and she proved to be a loyal and valued friend. I will miss her so very much.
I will always treasure my memories of Rebecca from our friendship over the years. She was indeed a light and helped so many people get in touch with their own light. She was a truly beautiful woman inside and out and I feel lucky to have known her. I am sad for the loss of a dear friend but happy that she will live on in my heart forever.
I am so sorry to hear that Rebecca has died; she was such a caring person and she will be missed.

Rebecca was a mother figure, friend and hero to me. I will truly miss you. Fly high with the angels. You will always hold a special part in my heart!
Love and Light to a Beautiful Spirit. Love you
I will miss you sorely, my most Excellent Friend; your laugh, your smile, your wit, your intelligence, your generosity, strength of will, and strange, wonderful, interesting character. Blessed Be Dearest Friend. May you rest in peace with your beloved ones on the other side.
Rebecca exhibited such strength, determination and love during her lifetime! She will be missed by all who know her.
Chris, so sorry for your loss. I remember her for her support of you those years at SAAS. A loving mother with a wonderful son.
We didn't get to see Rebecca very often, but we enjoyed our time with her when we did. She will be missed by us and many others at St. John Vianney. The Petersen/Crisp Family
Rebecca radiated an inner light that you simply wanted to be around. My last visit with Rebecca was a few years ago, but I remember thinking, "I hope that someday I can be like her." Rebecca's ability to make you feel special, like you were the only one in the room she wanted to talk to, was truly an amazing quality. I hope that I will be able to share that quality with others someday.
