I knew Dick when we were houseboat neighbors and I have had happy memories of the times with him. I have not seen him in 30 years but he was always a good friend and he is in my thoughts.

Laurie and I are so sorry to hear of Dick's passing. Our hearts go out to you Kim. Please let us know how we can help. We will miss Dick' see Dick in the neighborhood and discussing ways to make needed improvements in Eastlake.

I will also miss our talks about boating and spending time on the water, biking around town, and our latest bird watching news. He always showed a real interest in how my kids. I will always remember his advice about working too much and his encouragement to stop and spent the time doing those things you really love while you can.

I am saddened to hear the news of a friend passing away. When I first met Dick, he and his wife Kim were clients. We soon figured out we had a connection going all the way back to Dick sitting at my grandparents table as a child.
Dick had a great sense of humor and a passion for everything he did. He was always very generous. Never having children he always made me feel like I was a niece or a daughter. Not a man could walk passed us without Dick suggesting I date him. I never left his house without eating, even if I had eaten before arriving, I would eat again. I spent many holidays & meals at his table. I think our friendship was meant to be. I will truly miss you Dick. Baruch dayan emet

I will always have great memories of Cousin Dick and his twinkly eyes. He was a charachter, and it was a real treat to see him at family events. I feel fortunate that he wished me a Happy Hanukkah just a few days before his passing. I am going to really miss him. Love, Julie Hirsch
