Robin and Denny - Chris shared the news of Thatcher's passing while we were together for the holidays. We all (Chris, Joel and I) have such great memories of your four boys. Thatcher was a wonderful young boy who appears to have grown to be an equally wonderful man. My thoughts are with you. Julie Boden Schmidt (Schnedimiller)

So sorry to hear of your loss. I worked with Thatcher at MSNBC.com and will always remember him as one of the kindest and funniest people I ever had the privilege of working with.
My heart is heavy. My thoughts and prayers are with the Perkins family.
My deepest sympathy to you, Mr. and Mrs. Perkins. I saw Thatcher's obituary in the paper and remembered him right away. I was his third grade teacher. I still remember how he struggled with handwriting and how he had such a fun sense of humor. He used to make me laugh even when I was supposed to be serious. The others students and I loved him. I am so very sorry for your loss.
So, so sorry for the loss of your son. He was a darling little boy and a fine father, I am sure. With love, Susie Dodel Shane
I will always remember how funny Thatcher was and how kind he was to me when I was a little girl, a teenager and then when we moved out to Seattle in 2006. Guillermo and I appreciated the birthday parties, chili fests and company. We are deeply saddened to learn of Thatcher's passing and are thinking of Robin, Dennis, Aimee, Parker, Brennar, Morgan, Chris, John, Patrick and family. You make up such a special family and I know Thatcher is at the heart of it.
We are very sorry that we cannot make the service this Thursday, but we love you very much. --Kim and Guillermo Leiva

I am blessed to have been able to call Thatcher my friend. His wit and sense of humor always kept me on my toes. Thatcher was wise beyond his years and a light to so many. Robin and family, words cannot express how terribly sad I am for your loss. Thatcher was a big part of my teenage years. It was so fun to be able to see you all at Holy Innocents. God bless!
