Vicki - wonderful friend and colleague - Amazing daughter, mom, grandma - a woman of great substance and compassion. I'll miss her perspective, great laugh, sincere interest in everything around her. Til we meet again. Lots of love, Marli
We are fortunate at times to have great friends in the workplace. We became very close and shared many great conversations and debates. She was like the sister I never had. I will miss her every day. May she rest in peace.
I met Vicky when we were students at the U of W in 1972. We became friends and remained friends throughout the last 40 plus years. I could always count on her to there for me, to listen to my problems and make me feel better about whatever it was I was dealing with at the time. We shared stories by telephone or snail mail. She was incredibly smart and could hold a discussion about anything. Vicky loved to read. That woman enjoyed to read, something most people don't do anymore. Besides loving to read, she loved her son and grandson more than life itself. She took great pride in all Ahucan's accomplishments. She truly did dedicate her life in raising Ahucan, and she did a great job!!
I will miss my friend. I will miss her calming voice, her soothing words and her calm demeanor. Love you Vicky,
hope to see you again.
Vicki, had the most amazing memory. Many times I relied upon her vast knowledge to guide my actions as a board member. We will greatly miss her.
I've known Vicki for many years. I was always amazed by her vast knowledge of just about any topic. She has seen me grow and I have witnessed her incredible dedication to her work. I rejoice in having known her, and although time is short for those who rejoice, for those who love, time is eternity. May you rest in Peace!
Vicki was an amazing woman whose gentle presence was a blessing to all.
Vicki was a caring friend and colleague. Her dedication to her job and the THS organization was apparent at all times. I will miss her laugh, her spirit, and her kindness. We often discussed our children and she was a proud mother of her son and his accomplishments. She always talked about her grandson and was looking forward to spending as much time as possible with him. She will truly be missed by many, and I am glad to have been able to meet her and learn so much from her. Rest in peace my friend.
Vicki & I were the best of friends all through school. We even lived next door to each other while we attended the UW our first year. We lost touch for several years living in different parts of the country, raising our families, & just dealing with life but she has always been in my thoughts & my heart. She was a kind and good person who I will always love. My love to her family at this difficult time.
I worked with Vicki on several committees and administrative works. I will miss her knowledge and the many teachable moments we had.
Vicki was truly a great assistant to me at THS and I will miss her in many ways. I worked with her on different committees and learned well from Vicki. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her love ones.
Know that Vicki will be greatly missed. She had a very calm motivated spirit that carried through every aspect of her work.
Vicki was a truly wonderful woman. Not only was she an amazing asset to THS, but she brought so much to the lives of those around her. I spent lots of time chatting with her about books, art, politics, and life in general. And of course, talking about her pride and joy- her son and grandson. I miss her terribly.
