Is there baseball in heaven? There is now!! Our condolences....Frank Hogan's parents.....Kathy and Patrick
Coach,
You will be missed. Harvard baseball will always be associated with you, and the boys you shaped will always have a part of you with them.
My son, along with his friends, went to Joe's baseball camp for many years. He went to many other camps also, but this was the only one he kept going back to. Joe knew how to make baseball fun; something that is often lost in the competitive experience. As a result, my son had a great sense of accomplishment in his life, had a great high school baseball experience and went on to play college baseball. Through that process I was always able to call Joe and ask his advice, and Joe always welcomed me to do so. He was truly a great friend and our whole family and community will miss him.

May the God who supplies endurance and comfort”… sustain you in your time of need through prayer, the comfort of fellow believers, and his Word the Bible.–Ro 15:5.
With Deep Sympathy,
L. G.
Sorry for the loss of your beloved husband, father, son, brother, brother-in-law, & son-in-law. May you find comfort in the fact that he is truly @ home, in Heaven, sleeping with the Angels...The Connolly & Laubenstein families. God bless all of you! Take care of each other.
Dear Sandra, Tory, Holly, Katie and Kasey~
Our son, Chase Gilmore, had the pleasure of attending Harvard baseball camp run by Joe Walsh. Joe was encouraging, kind and instructive and made the Harvard camp a wonderful experience for Chase and the boys. It was clear that everyone respected, admired and loved Joe. You will be in our thoughts and prayers as you cope with this great loss.
Regards,
Susan and Curt Gilmore
To the Walsh Family - I was very sad to hear of Joe's passing. He was the baseball coach at Suffolk while I was a student there. He always had a smile on his face and was very upbeat.
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. He will be missed terribly.

I'm sorry for your loss.May you find comfort in the God of peace.
To the Walsh Family,
I played baseball for Coach Walsh at Suffolk in the late 80's. I knew the minute I met him he was a special person and now 25 years later I see the people he has touched and the legacy he leaves behind. I lost my father the day before we were headed to SC for spring training so I couldn't travel with the team. I flew down 2 days later and Coach Walsh met me at the airport alone to pick me up while the rest of the team carried on with activities. We had a nice talk and he helped me through a difficult time in my life. I still love baseball to this day and Coach Walsh was a great mentor. He will be missed by all that knew him.
