Rick, Jay, and Kerry ~ I was so sorry to hear of the passing of your wonderful Dad. He was such a great man, with a fantastic disposition. He always made me feel very loved and special. I know you are having a hard time adjusting to his physical absence in your lives, and I wish you all the best as the pain is replaced by the wonderful memories. Sandi Lorentz Marrs

I first met Jim, head of the Rowland family, in 1957while a draftee clarinet player in the U. S. Army port band stationed at Fort Lawton. Several of us became members of the Congregational Church Choir where we met Jeanne who fell into the habit of taking us home after church on Sundays. There we met their three wonderful children, Ricky, Kerry Jeanne and Jay. I will always remember "The Rowlands" and the wonderful times we shared together. I am saddened to learn of Jim's death. My condolences to all.

Kerry and big brothers Rick and Jay-so sorry to hear the news about your Dad. Thinking about him always brings a smile to my face as I remember how many times he allowed" cars he brought home to be driven to high school and activites-what a trusting generous soul. Hugs to you all, Patty (Mayer) Payne
