Leslie I am so sorry to hear of your husbands passing. please know I am thinking of you. Mike Horowitz
July 23, 2014
I am heartbroken to learn of Jerry's death from pancreatic cancer.
I trained with Jerry in both pediatrics and pediatric neurology and for a time he was also my teacher. He was remarkable in many ways; as I recall, he came back from his military service as an adult neurologist and started again as a resident in pediatrics-so I remember him first in whites as a new pediatric trainee who was also an experienced adult neurologist. He also was my teacher when I was a resident in pediatric neurology; he was a protege of Ken Swaiman, our illustrious professor and chief as well as of Dr. Baker, the maestro chairman of neurology at Minnesota.Jerry was a wonderful, knowledgeable teacher and mentor, and a skilled and compassionate clinician. I owe him a lot and offer Leslie and family my heartfelt condolences.
Sincerely, Keith Meloff MD Neurologist Toronto

Our family extends our condolences to Leslie and her family. Jerry was a one of a kind, independent, and ardent promoter of his firmly held beliefs, delivered with his sef- assured smile. We will miss him and his strolling the lane. Respectfully, the Woodleys
