Ray was my boss at the Terrell Education Center when we worked for GTE. He kept his office door closed in the mornings until he finished his financial review. Then he was ready to focus elsewhere.

He was so happy to move into the finance industry and gave our family solid advise about how to manage a budget and put pennies aside for the future. He was always welcome in our home and was a serious about our back yard volleyball games. Ray loved his kids dearly and was proud of them always.

Condolences to the family.

The first time I met Ray was in Packwood, Wn. I lived next door to him for the summer of 1950. He would take me to the grocery store on his bike. We later became related after our parents married. Our condolences to his family.

There was never a dull moment when Ray was around. He taught his younger siblings to hunt "snipe" and was always ready for a competitive game of anything.

You'll be missed my friend. Ray and I had many spirited discussions about lots of thing, but especially of God and the Lord Jesus. He was always sympathetic and while he did not agree with me most the time, he showed great respect for my comments. Good bye Ray. I will truly miss our conversations.
