Mr. Ancheta was a very patient teacher. I have many fond memories from his math class. He really connected with his students and I always knew he was there to help. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

In high school, I loved watching Rod play basketball for the Seattle Pacific Falcons. He was always a favorite for me and my friends. He truly is a sports legend at SPU, and I'm happy to see that he had further success in coaching after graduation. But more important, he was a positive influence on so many players. My prayers are with the family. He'll be missed.

Our condolences to Beth, Kerry, and Kyle for your loss. Rod was a great coach and a fierce competitor. Great memories of our time coaching in the Mid-Valley. Rest Well Coach.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Ancheta family. I have many wonderful memories of Mr Ancheta and Beth traveling through Europe for a month the summer of 93. Thanks for the memories.
