I knew Bill loved to play golf. In his retirement, he turned his front yard into a putting green. Never honked my horn when I saw him practicing his shots. Great Meadowbrook neighbors.

Bill Conroy was one of the best teachers I ever had although I didn't realize his wisdom and dedication to me as a student at the time I was a wild one and hard to handle he put everything he had into his teaching Bill was a one-of-a-kind

Very saddened to hear of Bill's passing. On behalf of Virginia Harvey Lodwig and her husband Walter and their sons that grew up in the neighborhood we share the sorrow of this loss. Bill was famous for his golfing skills. We always looked for him in his boat on Lake Washington when there was a sockeye salmon season in the good old days. Bill was always inspiring and encouraging his sons to excel in sports.
