Mrs. Dawn Clark Netsch was smart and delightful and not soon to be forgotten. I have always thought of her and her husband when I drove past her home to the Midwest Buddhist Temple and I know my thoughts will wander to this great dame for as long as I attend Temple.

Senator Netsch,"Was not just another pretty face",but a great ole gal. I gained great amount of respect for her while working as a staff member of President Phil Rock's senate office. Everyone could take a lesson from Senate President Rock and Senator Netsch on how to carry oneselves with class and integrity!! As one bright westside politiician use to say,"Don't ever kick the janitor in the butt, because that janitor could be your boss some day!! That is Senator Netsch's legacy, she always treated everyone the same, no matter their title!!! May your rest in peace, grand lady you surely earned it!!

My deepest sympathy to her family. She was deeply intelligent, kind and gracious. Politicians should use her as an example of integrity, and should model themselves after her. I was fortunate enough to share many conversations with her when she came to the grocery store where I worked. Rest in Peace Dawn and thank you for a life well lived and shared.

To the Family of Dawn Clark Netsch,
My Condolences to you all on the passing of such a wonderful woman. I had the priviledge of interviewing Ms. Netsch for our local cable news station, in her home, in 1998. What a wonderful, charming, intelligent, and just all-around nice woman! She was so gracious with her time with me and I was just some local cable tv interviewer! She was so kind and polite! She even offered me drinks and to stay afterwards for dinner! Oh, how I wanted to stay to see what other interesting insites she had to the world of Illinois Politics! I will never forget her.
May you all be comforted by your memories. She will be missed!

My deepest sympathy to her family, She was a wonderful BOSS, She served the State of Illinois so gratefully which she served so selflessly. She was honest,Intelligent and most of all so thoughtful but very tough when she had to be. She was a traight shooter. She will be missed Comptroller.
