Wilma Esther Vinson

SEDALIA - Wilma Esther Vinson, 72, of Sedalia, passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at Fair View Nursing Home in Sedalia. She was born on August 6, 1941, in Lebanon, MO, a daughter of Jack and Polly (Fisher) Banty.

Wilma loved fishing and collecting roosters. She enjoyed sewing and making her own clothes. She also made all of her grandkids Christmas clothes. She loved spending time with her grandkids.

She is survived by two children, Nathan Vinson of Sedalia, and Gena Buchanan (Jose) of Sedalia; six grandchildren, Tabitha Monroe, Sarah Petty, Micah Vinson, Amanda Logan, Nathaniel Logan, Ruben Logan; and ten great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Logan; three sisters, Mary Banty, Pat Stean, Katherine Winfery; and one brother, Robert Winfery.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2014 at Rea Funeral Chapel in Sedalia with Rev. Tony Chapman officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Entombment will be at Crown Hill Cemetery Columbarium Wall.

Memorial contributions are suggested to BRHC Cancer Foundation in Sedalia. Online condolences may be left at www.reafuneralservice.com.
