Edwin H. Rodriguez, age 53 of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014. Originally from Michigan, he considered Kentucky his home. He was an expert craftsman, loved the outdoors and nature and always believed in helping his friends and neighbors. He was a kind hearted person who was loved by all who met him, especially his family and those who called him "Uncle Eddie." Eddie is survived and loved by his daughter, Claudia DeVlaminck; his parents, Edwin H. Rodriguez Sr. and Clara Wilson Martin; siblings, Catherine M. Hitt, Christine M. Davis (Tim) and Connie M. Wright (Mike); grandchildren, Blake, Mirabella and Grace; nieces and nephews, Nina, Adam, Elizabeth, Tyler, Marcus, Mary, Kendall; great-nieces and nephews, Kelsey, Isaac, Parker, Kylah, Georgia, J.J., Cara, Malachi, Alyna, Joseph, Aryanna, Andrew, Bree and Liam. He is also survived by a host of family and friends. A celebration of Eddie's life will be 6 p.m. Sunday, July 13 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive with visitation there from 2 p.m. until time of service. Memorials may be made to Hosparus.
