My Nana was an inspiration to me...she was a smart beautiful strong independent woman..I have always looked up to her and hope one day that I can pass along her strength and wisdom to my own children . She was a true lady. I will miss her very much.

Nana will always be remembered as the rock of our family. She was always very insightful, dignified and exquisite. We learned much from her gracefulness and respected her as our family's matriarch. We will all miss her dearly

Dorothy Dacre will always be the best example of class and elegance. Such a wise and loving woman will be sorely missed by the entirety of her family and friends. She was always so nice every time we visited her. I wish I could have spent more time with her, she was such an interesting person to talk to. I will miss her always.

I am very grateful for the time I had to write Nana growing up. I learned so much history about the city of San Francisco and about the United States. I only wish I could have learned more from her. I have never met anyone with more knowledge than her. She was a great person, and I will miss her dearly.
