I missed you so much today, Lisa. I love you always. Galina
11th anniversary today. With you here or without you here we remain together. Love, LiLi, Love.
Just heard about Lisa's passing while reading her dad's obituary today in the San Diego paper. Lisa and I were both La Jolla High grads, class of '71. So sorry to hear about her passing, way too young. Rest in peace.
A year has passed, but not the love.
Love you LiLi
I am so sorry for your loss
Tony, So sorry to hear about Lisa. I certainly remeber her from my daysin the 70's at the zoo and her love for the animals, and her willingness to interact with them. Tony, hope you are doing well.
I just heard about the passing of Lisa. I remember her fondly from my years at the zoo. She was always cheerful and game for anything. She will be missed!
I am so sorry to hear about Lisa's passing. Though I hadn't seen her for many years Lisa was an unforgettable, passionate and focused woman who instantly became a friend. We met in the 1980's when I was working with Jane Goodall, setting up studies of chimpanzees in zoos around the USA. Please accept my condolences and thank you for sharing the lovely tribute and photo of Lisa.
Lisa was amazing. I loved her, I admired her, I'm so happy to have known her. The world is a better place for her having been here. Her love will stay with you forever, Tony, and I hope that helps to ease the pain of your loss. Love, Suzanne
Tony, I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Lisa's passing. My heart and deepest sympathy is with you. Even after all these years, I can see her smile and hear her giggle. Take care, Tony.
Your smile and warmth went around the world -
on this side of the world - it will always live on
in our hearts with love.
Tony, please recieve our deepest condolences.
I am so sorry to hear of Lisa's passing. I have such fond, colorful and fun memories of her. She was so wonderful with the primates - she enriched all of our lives, animals and humans. She will be missed.

I love you and hope each day finds you focusing on how lucky you are to have had Lisa.
Pleas extend my sincerest condolences to her mom and dad.
Lisa taught me to be happy again. I saw her smile with her efforts to win this challenge. I saw her smile for sunny days, and the flowers around us. Even stories of her life was filled with joy and laughs.
Lisa, I am glad to have shared with you. And you got your wish on election day.

Tears flowed into the pool as we learned of Lisa's passing. Her twinkling smile radiated love and hope, even as she fought... Lisa loved deeply and was deeply loved. Lisa, your spirit shines on.
Heartfelt condolences to cherished Tony and family.

Ah Lisa, you lived at the core level every moment, what a gift, so deeply shared with all us primates. Eternally memorable. Your passion shaped the past as it will the future. You knew so much. Bless you, you too Tony.
The soundtrack playing in my head as the many pictures in my mind of LIsa run in a loop is Tuck and Patti's "My Romance". The last picture is Lisa blowing kisses at the chimps and them blowing them right back to her. Lisa stays in our hearts forever. Sending you lots of love Tony.
Tony and family, I am so sorry to hear about this. Love to you all in this time of sorrow. xoxox
I will miss you forever - I am allright..I promise!!
I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and the chimps that she loved- she will be missed by us and by them. Condolences to her family and friends.
Tony, what a sad circumstance to reconnect with you. Lisa loved those apes and you. She was always a joy to work with.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I will always remember Lisa for her relentless persistence about improving the quality of life for animals in her care - and elsewhere. And how will any of us ever forget her jubilant little giggle when something struck her funny bone? Indeed, she was one of a kind and packed more love into her short life than anyone I've ever known.
With much love and deepest sympathy,
Lisa prompted me to plant a tree many years ago. It's now 15 feet tall and is a beautiful addition to the street. Her influence continues.
I am so sorry to hear of Lisa's death. I have wonderful memories of her - at the zoo and in conversations around the table. We had a women's group back in the 90's and oh how we talked! Please know that she will always be remembered.
This was a wonderful tribute to a passionate individual who was a strong and admirable advocate for the chimps and orangs she cared for for so many years. I was fortunate to have worked with Lisa for more than a decade and saw her unwavering commitment and dedication to these individual animals. She opened my eyes to great apes, letting me look into their eyes. My heart goes out to Tony and her family; I'm so sorry for your loss.
A champion for life and just causes. You will be missed, greatly.
I knew lisa from her birth. I rode home in the car that took her home from the hospital after she was born. She has been in my life ever since. I loved her very much, and will miss her forever.
I will always be glad of the times I got to talk or just say hi/yo to Lisa and her smile that was(is) so beautiful.
Lisa trained me on the Triple Grotto string years ago and am still working with her friends, Cobby, Tallulah, Minnie, and Maggie, at the zoo today. She really loved the Chimps and Orangutans and you always knew that whatever she did, she did it with "her" apes in mind.
My experience at the zoo would not have been the same without knowing Lisa.
You have my condolences Tony.
A valiant woman, whose light will forever shine! She lit up my life and I'll never forget her.
Tony, You have my sincerest condolences. I'm so glad that I got to see Lisa in her "element", at the SFZoo, sharing her love of Rusty the Orangutan with me and my mom. Her whole spirit lit up when she was around animals: I will always remember her that way. If there is anything you need, I'm here.
Tony, I am very sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed working with lisa and she always took time to show me the chimps! A very nice woman.
I really have no words. My heart aches. Just to let you know I am here. Stephanie
I met Lisa at the zoo, she introduced me to coby a wonderful lady and a true friend to animals Lloyd
So sorry to hear about Lisa; If I were to think of one word to describe her when I would interact with her, it would be "forthright." Never had a doubt where I stood with her...I'll keep her in my thoughts...
