Jack - I was a Churchill Scholar with you and have often wondered since then how your brain research was going. Amazingly well, and quite a legacy, I gather. We wil miss you.

Jack always inspired people to make life special. If we were considering having dinner someplace, Jack would say “not just someplace, let's go to the Ritz!”
I am fortunate to have been Jack's friend and colleague for 20 years. I shared his passion for discovery and we had many wonderful adventures together (scientific and otherwise). He was a good friend.

Jack inspired us all with his great scientific achievements – I will remember him even more so for how he inspired people with his infectious zeal for life.

Thank you Jack.

Jack will always be with all those he touched.

Jack was my first grade student at St. Catherine's back in 1965-1966. I was saddened learn of his passing and wish to extend my condolences to his family. It was amazing to see his accomplishments and gratifying to me to have had a small impact on him as a 6 year old little boy. I was a Sister of Mercy then known as Sister Mary Immaculate. I remember Jack as a very bright child, anxious to learn and very easy to like. My prayers are with all his family.

I had the privilege of teaching World History to Jack's Freshman Class at Woodside Priory School......even then...Jack was brilliant, insightful, humorous, and I believe now that God gave Jack the perfect combination of an inquisitive mind seeking the answers to so many deep questions and a caring heart which could feel the pain of human illness and the innate desire to help alleviate suffering. I haven't seem him since Priory Days(the 1970's) but Jack is one of those human beings you never forget. I am so sorry that his mortal life has ended so early. I remember how passionately curious Jack was about "the future" and "what lies beyond"....well.....now he understands these things as he may never have done before.
