Ermanno always liked my Dad and the feeling was mutual. When we would have our weekly visit to Mamma Lucia's, Ermanno would always come over to my Dad to say 'Hi' and discuss his latest medical condition and Italian food. He would always greet Dad with 'Hi Doc'! I have so many fond memories of that place and the nice Italian man in the white apron and white hat. My prayers and condolences go out to the Macro family. R.I.P. Ermanno Macro.

Imagine being a little kid having dinner with your parents and grandma and a man walked up to your table in a white hat and apron smeared with red and saying "You eat all that meatball!" Then smiling and sprinkling cheese on it and saying ... "now eat... it tastes better now!" I was maybe 6. Now our family is into our 5th generation of dining at Mamma Lucias. For me the best memory still of Granada Hills! Prayers to your entire family at this time of sorrow. Be in Peace knowing so many families lives were touched and memories made Thanks to your amazing family!

My sincere condolences to Mario and Giovanni and the rest of the Macro family. I remember Ermanno always coming out of the kitchen to greet us for years while we ate at Mamma's. My dad, Julio Pro, loved talking to Ermanno and we always joked that they looked alike. Julio passed away 6 months ago today so I know how hard it is for everyone there. Sincerest condolences! God bless.
