My friend Chico how I miss you. You always had a smile on your face, especially when you pulled the many pranks on me thru the years. We had great times together, golf with Mark and Bob,races in Del Mar and the dinners at Fidels. Kathy,Pinky (jocket statue)Star & Shadow (you hated my dogs) and I have a void in our lifes for you were taken from us way too early. I love you and miss you every day your pal Danny

My thoughts and prayers go out to a wonderful family. I loved having dinner at Vera and Merv Sr's. house on Sundays and going down to Del Mar. After all, I won my 1st race there in 1971! Thanks for the memories.

"....generous spirit, and kind heart...," sums it up perfectly for how he was to me and my son. You were a special person and will be missed greatly.

My condolences to family and friends, there are no words that can take away the pain you feel from the loss of a loved one, but you can remember the happy times which can bring a smile or even a laugh as you look back on something Merve did or said. RIP Merve
