Kris and Michael, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I will always remember him as a softspoken man. As a kid in the neighborhood, I recall your dad walking down Crocker Ave. coming home from work, lunchpail in hand. What a handsome man! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. God Bless. Candy Neumann Penland, former neighbor, friend, and schoolmate, SFHS Class of 1975.

I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. I met Bernie in the dining room at Pine Haven, where he enjoyed food and fellowship with my dad Richard. I am thankful for the friendship they developed during that time. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
