Jim was an awesome coach and a warm, giving person. He made our son, Josh, the gifted athlete and the wonderful young man he is today. He touched the lives of all his students and athletes, and the world is a better place because of him. We think of the entire Miller family, during this difficult time. His memories will forever burn bright..
Rest in peace Coach, we will truly miss you.

To All My Miller Buddies, Kohler ties are strong and never really fade. Know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Jim was taken way too soon. May he rest in peace. However that may be hard with " Fella " and "Dunder" showing him the ropes. God bless.
So very sorry for your loss. I only knew Jim for a short time I was his roommate at NIMC Rehab. Jim was always a pleasure and up beat at the dinner table even when he was in extreme pain. Jim helped me adjust at rehab.

Our condolences go out to Jim's family. We didn't know Jim personally, but heard many nice things about him from our son, Brett, who is one of Andrew's best friends. He has shared stories with us on occasion of times spent with Andrew and Jim at numerous Northwestern football games during the past few years. Our prayers will be with you.

To the Miller Family,
I have no idea who any of you are but I noticed that your memorials are to the ALS Foundation. I lost my 61 year old mom almost 7 years ago to ALS. I hate knowing that another young man so full of life was taken from his family as was my mom! Hoping that your memories will get you through the tough days ahead!!
I had Mr. Miller at Central H.S. for weight class. There a few football players teasing me for being in weight class when I was a trainer. The first day I wanted to quit, I could not even bench press the bar. Mr. Miller told me to prove the boys wrong, so I did! We was an awesome teacher.
Gonna miss you greatly brother. But I know deep down I will see you again. I'm grateful that your suffering is over. RIP. I love you.
Jeanette, so sorry to hear of your son's passing. We have moved to Longmont, CO, but I hope to see you this summer. Our prayers are with you. Love, Jeanne and Jim Moersch
Coach Miller was a very important man in many kids lives, including mine! I remember when he began teaching at our school and all the girls, including me, thought he was so good looking! Prayers to his family and remember to hold on to all the positive things he did and all the people he touched both on and off the field. You were an amazing man, Jim Miller!
