My thought are with you and your family,Ann at John's passing.
Dear Ann, We were so sorry to hear of John's passing & disappointed not to have seen the obituary until after the service. Just wanted to express our sincere condolences to you and your family.
To the Hermann Family,
John and my father were very good friends. I remember how close the neighbors were on Ontario Avenue, and the get togethers, especially with jug beer in the summer. Great memories growing up in that neighborhood, across the street. My sympathies on your loss.
Ann and family, so sorry we could not be there but the roads were bad. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and our sympathy to you in the loss of John. God has a large choir with him and I can hear them all signing and harmonizing now

Dear Ann, Darice and Bonnie and family,
You have our deepest sympathies in the loss of your husband and father. 'Uncle' John was such a kind and gentle man. I know that my Dad really enjoyed the times they spent golfing together or just visiting. Our thoughts & prayers are with you all.
I'm sorry to hear of John's passing. I am Hilde (Revak) Hermann's granddaughter. I can only imagine how sweet the reunion of the other passing siblings in Heaven is... Them welcoming John and enjoying laughs together. Although it is always so hard for the ones left behind. So my heart goes out to John's family. May God comfort you all in your time of loss!

As you stated, he is in a better place, free of any pain or difficulties. I am unable to attend the service on Friday. We are holding a volunteer training at the same time. Uncle John, you were a special, kind hearted, humerous type of man who loved to make others laugh. Your ways of telling a story John were one of a kind and you always had us right in the palm of your hand. Thanks for all the good times we had out at the farm. I suppose right now, you're laughing with Rolin, Catherine, John W., and many others, going over all the things you use to talk about. You will be missed.
John has been one of our best friends for a long time. We have many memories of good times we have had over the years. We was a good man, and we were so sorry to hear of his death. We will miss him.
