Becky Summers was a true conservation hero to our community. She leaves behind the Ann Knauf Trust, a 150-acre buffer to the Kettle Moraine State Forest. In 1999, she was the first landowner to sign-up to preserve her beautiful grasslands, forest and farm lands with the non-profit land trust, Sheboygan Area Land Conservancy, which is now known as Glacial Lakes Conservancy. Becky will forever be in our hearts through her role with our land trust organization. Her enduring legacy will be the land she held dear and protected in perpetuity, as well as serving to inspire all of the other private landowners to permanently protect their private land with Conservation Easement partnerships. From all of us at Glacial Lakes Conservancy, we send the Summers family our sincere condolences. Becky will be truly missed. Vickie Hall, Executive Director, Glacial Lakes Conservancy.

My Sympathy goes out to the family of my friend, Becky. Her continual hard work on her vision was inspirational to me. Her gracious and sincere hospitality was a pleasant reward for my admiration of her. Her spirit lives on in the memories of the Country Crafts barn and the actions of a handful of women with a vision. I appreciate her pioneering spirit.
