It is always, always too soon to say goodbye to a loved one. My deepest sympathy on the passing of such a great lady. Great-Aunt Marion stands out to me as one of the kindest souls I have ever met. Over the years I have visited her with my father, Ed Rollmann. Every memory I have of her, childhood and beyond, is of her: smiling. She had this infectious smile ~ entirely contagious ~ the smile of the kind that you don't just see with your eyes, but you feel within your soul. Warm. When I read the beautiful words written of her life, in her obituary, I sobbed like a child. As a wife and mother myself, a girl can only DREAM of being honored in such a way upon her passing from this earth. I feel privileged to call such a grand lady my great-aunt. What a treasured heritage! Thank you, Great Aunt Marion for pouring yourself out in love. I will be printing this beautiful life-story and tucking it into my Bible ~ as inspiration of 99 years of life finished well, lived faithfully. My thoughts and grief are with the entire family in mourning, and in celebration of such a beautiful lady who used her time on this earth so generously.
