Jim was an awesome coach and a warm, giving person. He made our son, Josh, the gifted athlete and the wonderful young man he is today. He touched the lives of all his students and athletes, and the world is a better place because of him. We think of the entire Miller family, during this difficult time. His memories will forever burn bright..
Rest in peace Coach, we will truly miss you.

We have made a donation to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease "Chronic Lyme Disease" in Jim's name. If there is some other way we can help please let us know.

It was truly an honor to have known this man. Even though he took all my money in bowling. Lol. RIP Coach.

Dear Miller Family, Whenever we hear about the passing of a Kohler High School graduate from "our era," we feel the sadness of losing a special piece of our precious "Kohler Memories." We Funk kids feel so blessed to have spent so many wonderful moments with the Miller Family. We wish to send warm, loving thoughts to Jeanette and family. Our thoughts and prayers to Jim's family; He was a good man who touched many lives as these messages show; a loyal and true friend who will be missed. His example of courage in the face of adversity will live on; never quit and give it all you've got. RIP my friend.

To All My Miller Buddies, Kohler ties are strong and never really fade. Know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers. Jim was taken way too soon. May he rest in peace. However that may be hard with " Fella " and "Dunder" showing him the ropes. God bless.

So very sorry for your loss. I only knew Jim for a short time I was his roommate at NIMC Rehab. Jim was always a pleasure and up beat at the dinner table even when he was in extreme pain. Jim helped me adjust at rehab.
Thank you
