Kraemer, Robert M. "Bob" (1931-2013)

Robert M. "Bob" Kraemer, age 81, formerly of Greenbush, passed away early Sunday morning (Oct. 13) at Monroe Manor in Barron, WI where he had been a resident for 1 month.

He was born on December 24, 1931 in Milwaukee, WI, a son to the late George and Anna (Bendall) Kraemer.

He graduated from Port Washington High School in 1950.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1954 serving in the Korean War.

On November 3, 1956 he married Betty Lou Evraets at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Grafton.

The couple resided in Port Washington for 5 years and the Town of Grafton for 16 years and since 1979 in the Town of Greenbush.

He worked for H&K Concrete Products, Bolens FMC in Port Washington and Tecumseh Company in New Holstein retiring in 1990. He also enjoyed farming and driving his tractors on the farmstead.

He is a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and also was a member of the Grafton VFW Post #10171 and served as past commander and held many offices in the post.

He enjoyed traveling, camping, collecting toy tractors, card playing and games of chance. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 56 years: Betty Lou of Greenbush; Four children: Susan (Greg) Leitheiser of Cumberland, Robert Kraemer of Greenbush, Richard (Julie) Kraemer of Tomahawk and Ronald Kraemer of Greenbush; Four grandchildren: Greg (Stephanie) Leitheiser of Coppell, TX, Michelle (Travis) Schullo of Cumberland, Katie (Andrew) Pantke of Romulus, MI and Jessica Kraemer of Steubenville, OH; Special family friend: Reyene Wakeley of Tomahawk; Six great grandchildren: Trent, Marissa, Mallory, Greg James, Tara and Anneliese; Three sister-in-laws: Sharon Kraemer of Fredonia, Marlene Kraemer of Grafton and Bonnie (Dave) Ewig of Random Lake; Four brother-in-laws: Jerry (Jackie) Evraets of Greenbush, Joe (Joyce) Evraets of West Bend, John (Cheri) Evraets of Menomonee Falls and Robert (Darlene) Evraets of Plymouth.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one grandson: Randy Kraemer; three brothers: Ken, John and Edward Kraemer; his mother and father-in-law: Homer and Lydia Evraets; one brother-in-law: Eugene and one infant sister-in-law.

Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday (Oct. 17) at 12:00 Noon at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in Plymouth Woodlawn Cemetery. The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites at the cemetery following the services.

Friends may call at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth on Wednesday (Oct. 16) from 4-7 P.M. and at CHURCH on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.

A memorial fund is being established in Bob's name.
