I just thought of when my husband Roger and I went to visit his aunt Jeanette and husband Carty Randolph back in the late summer of 1975.I took my Uncle Trevor and Aunt Elaine to visit them, as Trevor was a member of the Masonic Lodge as was Carty. Both of them also belonged to the Methodist church,so I thought that they would have plenty in common. Carty made Trevor an Old Fashioned, and must have given him the wrong drink, as all of a sudden I had a very happy Uncle. When we got a chance,my aunt Elaine and I went out to the kitchen and added more seven-up to Trevor's drink. We were able to do this very discreetly,so as not to upset our host.
Roger realized what had happened and was able to let me know so we could fix it.I do not know if Carty noticed the diluted drink he had, but everything turned out A-OK.

Dad used to take me on scenic drives around Wisconsin, and tell stories of his past travels, his fathers adventures with him, and other such memories... we would talk about life and dreams...treasuring our company...I am so glad Dad took the time for those scenic memories will last my lifetime...

Dad was such a loving father. I miss him dearly. Got the Ferguson out today and it started right up, after a charge. I remember when dad and I worked on the tractor...getting the fuel system and electrical system in good shape. I remember when dad ordered new tires for the back, (all 600 pounds of them !!). They still look as new as the day we mounted them.

I have very many fond memories of our many meals together and game nights. Roger was a very sharp Pente player. I will always treasure the card shuffler and the rosemaled box he thoughtfully game me.
