KINGS MOUNTAIN - Bobby Gene Boheler, 74, died July 26, 2014, at his home.
Born in Cleveland County on April 8, 1940, he was the son of the late Harry Richard and Lila Eloise Jol-ley Boheler. Bob was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church in Kings Mountain and a U.S. Army Veter-an. He retired from Pine Hall Brick Yard in Grover after many years of service. Bob collected trains and enjoyed woodworking and was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping and fishing. He was a loving husband, devoted father and grandfather. Bob was one of thirteen children and in addition to his par-ents, is preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.
Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Moore Boheler; a son, Chris Boheler and wife Toni of Kings Mountain; a daughter, Laura Crawford and husband Ernest of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Edie Boheler and Juanita Falls and husband Carl all of Kings Mountain; two brothers, Joe Boheler of Grover and Spud Boheler and wife Virginia of Little Rock, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Stacy Crawford and wife Tara, Matt Boheler and wife Amanda, T. J. Crawford and girlfriend Nikki Bell, Taylor Boheler, and Chris Allen; great-granddaughter, Hailee Crawford; and loyal canine companion, "Ginger."
Memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at Macedonia Baptist Church in Kings Mountain with the Rev. Michael Horne officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
