LAWNDALE - Mrs. Pauline Swink Millon, 86, of Creekwood Road, Lawndale passed away Feb. 22, 2013 at Lincoln Nursing Center, Lincolnton.
Born January 8, 1927 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Marion Bud Swink and Edith Smart Swink.
She was a homemaker and a member of Ledford Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of almost sixty years, Ivey T.C. Millon; a son, Larry Mellon; grandson, Windal Hoyle; great-grandson, Brandon Mellon and two half-brothers, Vasco Price and Coyet Lee Sparks.
Survivors include three sons, Harold Mellon and wife, Joyce, of Vale, Thomas Mellon and wife, Carolyn, of Cherryville and Ricky Mellon and wife, Phyllis, of Casar; three daughters, Helen Burgess of Connelly Springs, Carolyn McGinnis and husband, Frank, of Lincolnton and Marie Johnson and husband, Ricky, of Lawndale; daughter-in-law, Kathy Mellon of Shelby; one special grandson, Michael Mellon of Lawndale, eighteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren, and nineteen fifth generation grandchildren; sister, Betty Self and husband, Clarence, of Lawndale.
Visitation: Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston
Funeral Service: Tuesday, 2 p.m., at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
Officiating: Revs. Danny York, Jackie Price and Clyde Price
Burial: House of Prayer Cemetery, Fallston
