She was my Grandpa's Sister-Inlaw,
Heard great things about her.

Thank you Linda. Yes Shell was a much more kinder, caring person than the character she played.
Thank you for your kind words.
Yes, I still love you Shell.

Shell was the opposite of Amy Vining. She was kind, creative and loving to so many of us who knew her Lacy Ladies who continue to love the Lacy Afternoon clothing and craft kits she sold on HSN & QVC When she was at QVC she Invited the Lacy Ladies to a luncheon and also brought several of us to a live show featuring her craft projects. Will always miss her and am so glad that General HOSPITAL Acknowledged Shell during the 50th Anniversary cELEBRATION. One of a kind. woman who continues to be missed so much!!!

So glad they paid tribute to the character Amy Vining. It was done with such class. RIP Shell. There is a big void in GH without the gossiper at the nurses station.

I didn't know Amy had died until this week. I loved her as a gossipy nurse. Miss you for the 50th anniversary. May you RIP.

A wonderful actress and designer! Thank you for sharing your talents in acting and fashion through the years. As I watch the GH 50th anniversary (which no doubt you would have been a part of)
I think of you :)

I have been watching GH since I was a young teenager. I just found this guestbook now as I watch the 50th anniversary specials for GH this week. Shell was such a talented girl, and so fun to watch. I used to come home from school, then work, to watch the show. Now I can watch it on SoapNet instead of having to tape it! She was a special lady, and she will always be missed.

So many great memories of you on GH. You have been missed and even more so now with the Nurses' Ball revival. Loved how your character remained close to Laura, even after finding out you were not biological sisters and also loved Amy's gossiping. R.I.P. Shell.
