Doris Bernice Cummings Crenshaw



SHREVEPORT, LA - A memorial service celebrating the life of Doris Bernice Cummings Crenshaw will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Terry Love. A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. at Forest Park Cemetery, St. Vincent Avenue.

Doris was born March 17, 1920 in Hall Summit, LA. She was a homemaker and member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church. Doris was a long time member of the Eastern Star. She had moved to Tulsa, OK to be near her son and family when her health failed. Doris was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be missed dearly.

Her parents, and husband, Bill Crenshaw, preceded Doris in death. She is survived by her son Keith Crenshaw and wife, Sandra of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Karen Caldwell and husband, Kevin of Dallas, TX; and grandchildren, Susan Crenshaw of Tulsa, OK and Jim Caldwell of Dallas, TX.

Memorials may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 6012 Youree Drive, Shreveport, LA 71105.
