I didn't know this man. I've never seen his face or heard his name. But I honor him as a warrior, a defender of freedom and an American Patriot! My prayers for the family of this wonderful man, during this time of grief.

Day is done, gone the sun

From the lakes, from the hills, from the sky
All is well, safely rest
God is nigh.

Fading light dims the sight
And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright
From afar, drawing near
Falls the night.

Thanks and praise for our days
Neath the sun, neath the stars, neath the sky
As we go, this we know

God is nigh.

Fading light dims the sight

And a star gems the sky, gleaming bright
From afar drawing nigh,
Falls the night.

Day is done, gone the sun
From the lakes, from the hills, from the skies
All is well, safely rest;
God is nigh.

Then goodnight, peaceful night;
Till the light of the dawn shineth bright.
God is near, do not fear,

Friend, goodnight.

Love, sweet dreams!

Lo, the beams of the light Fairy moon kissed the streams,
Love, Goodnight!
Ah so soon!

Peaceful dreams!

Fading light

Falling night
Trumpet call, as the sun, sinks in flight
Sleep in peace, comrades dear,

God is near.
Thank you.

I worked for this man for 3 years at Hamels Park, driving the train and my last year as outside ride supervisor. He taught me a lot of lessons; he had a lot of really memorable quotes! He was one hell of a guy who taught me a lot. Thanks Jerry, for the lives you've touched and your service to your country.

He left behind a legacy that will never be erased. This world will be a lesser place without him. His service to our country & to the community was invaluable.. He made a difference...... " De Oppresso Liber "
