Millie - While working the DEA area with you at Delta Air Lines in Dallas, I remember getting to know your family through your stories of them. How sad that JH is no longer physically with you, but I hope your many fond memories of him will warm your heart during this very difficult period for you and your family.

Mrs. Millie, My thoughts and Prayers are with you and your entire family. I have no words that can comfort you. I will miss J.H. terribly. He always had a smile and made me feel so welcome at DeSoto fire dist. #3. The dept. will never be the same. If we all had the drive and dedication that Mr. J.H. had the world would be a better place. Please keep an Eye over all of us. So long my smiling friend, until we meet again. Missed but never forgotten. RIP MR. J.H. LAIRD.

Millie, Cathy, Lisa and girls. What a joy to have been gathered in as part of your family. Lee and I could never express to you how much each of you are part of our lives. We share a joy with you that only families share and you have been gracious to include us in yours. J.H. had a wonderful presence and acceptance that we will always treasure. He held a strong, quiet place for you to call home. Such a tribute to the fine man he was in the legacy he leaves behind in his loved ones. You are who you are because he had an impact on your life. Love you.

Millie, J. H. was our oldest volunteer and he was always willing to help in anyway he could at the Fire Department. He will be missed so much at the office for coffee each morning and his greeting each morning. He made coffee for all our pancake breakfast, volunteer meetings and any other meetings we had there. It is sad to say good by to a very good friend as well as a fun person to be around, we loved him and will miss him. From all the coffee drinking friends from DFD # 3 the morning group.

Mrs. Laird, (Millie) and your family, David and I was blessed to be part of Your family when Heather married Kevin. The first time we ever met Ya, and each time We were around You two was so very special. But how could it not be? Both of You are so down to earth people, that have a way of making people feel better after being around You. There was a loving spirit coming from both of You. All married couples, young and old, could learn some valuable lessons on life, love and marriage from Mr. and Mrs. Laird. You both are like Kevin's Grandparents. And for that, We Thank You! Kevin, and Heather love and respect the role models You have been in their marriage. And for that, We Thank You! Seth and Sophie could always feel your precious GiGi and Pappy Love for them. And for that, We Thank You! We can honestly say We feel like, We have been touched by two Angels! And for that, WE THANK GOD!
Love, Diana and David Breen
