My thoughts and prayer are with the family today. I'll always remember Cecil as a very sweet caring man.

Mr. Mac was a very special person. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren, Carissa & Colt. He always wanted what was best for his family. He will be missed! May God give comfort & peace to his family & friends.

Mr. C was the best boss in the whole world. He opened his heart up to our family many years ago. He taught me so many things, things that I will always and forever carry with me through the rest of my life. He meant so very much to me and my family, he was part of my family... There are no words to express how much I loved and will miss him...

The Final Salute

“Brothers in Arms”, Military men and women down through the centuries, have traditionally exchanged “Hand Salutes” as a sign of recognition and as a way to render courtesy and respect one to another.

This “Hand Salute” is the last that we shall render to Cecil L. McCloskey our “Brother-in-Arms”. To his family it symbolizes the love and respect that we have for Cecil. And to Cecil it is rendered as a symbol of honor and gratitude to thank him for the devoted and selfless service he rendered to his country while serving in the U.S. Navy. Cecil, you are a true patriot, who served with honor and distinction. You upheld the finest qualities of an American patriot warrior: courage, commitment, generosity, sacrifice, love and devotion to family and country. We bid you a sad farewell. You will be dearly missed from among our ranks. Be at Ease. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of the 1,261 military veteran Legionnaires of Lowe-McFarlane Post 14 of the American Legion, I extend our sympathies and our condolences to Cecil's family and loved ones.

Rest In Peace Mr. McCloskey.
I did not know you personally but you have a great family and the staff for the two places you owned are the greatest... We love the Kennel, where our dogs visit all the time... May God comfort your family and friends in this loss..
